Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, is chairing an emergency Security Council meeting at the Government House, Katsina. The session is ongoing.

The meeting brings together the heads of security agencies in the state, chairmen of affected local government areas, and representatives from the Nigerian Army, Defence Headquarters, and the Department of State Services (DSS).

Also in attendance are officials from the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Federal Fire Service, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), KSCWC.

The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, along with prominent traditional rulers and religious leaders, and other top government officials are also present.
